Craft activities don’t always need a heap of supplies, sometimes all you need is some pencils, paper and interesting textures.
You will need…
A backyard full of different textures
Pencil – Coloured or Lead
Step 1. Grab your gear, put on your warm or cool clothes depending on where you live! and being exploring outside.
Step 2. Place different items under the paper, one by one, and run your pencil back and forth gently. You will discover the markings of the leaf etc. transferring onto the paper.
Step 3. Try pressing harder or softer to see what happens to the impression. Try other items around the house, coins work great!
